Underdress

Sarah Arnold is an amateur seamstress and member of a Regency Dance group in England, wher she performs country dance from the 18th and early 19th Century, a type of dance often seen in film or TV adaptations of Jane Austen’s novels. When performing, she wears a costume appropriate to the period.
This beautiful underdress uses a pattern based upon a painting of Duchess Louise of Mecklenburg-Strelitz and features our lovely cotton tulle edging, with a wheat ear pattern (very popular during the Regency period) to edge the over-gown.
