Deadstock Fabrics

Deadstock fabrics are our name for the plain, non-lace cloth that sits alongside our embroidered ranges — the cottons, satins, georgettes, tulles and other materials designers reach for as linings, base layers or standalone yardage. Like all of our stock, these are genuine deadstock: excess or leftover rolls rescued from European mills and ateliers rather than newly commissioned production, bought once and never reordered.

AnBella Designs sells deadstock fabrics by the metre to designers, ateliers, bridal makers and home sewists who want to pair a lace or trim with a compatible base cloth, or simply need good-quality fabric without the environmental cost of producing more from scratch. Buying deadstock fabric means buying into existing supply rather than new manufacturing, which is at the heart of how we source. As with the rest of our stock, ranges are finite: once a particular roll of deadstock fabric is sold, the same fabric will not be restocked.
