Guipure Cotton Appliques

Guipure cotton appliques are individual motifs cut from our cotton-base guipure lace — dense, sculptural embroidery with no mesh backing, ready to be stitched onto a bodice, veil, jacket or home piece as a standalone embellishment. Because the cotton base is soft and breathable, these appliques sit comfortably against the skin, which makes them a favourite for bridalwear and christening pieces as well as tailored garments.

Every motif comes from AnBella Designs’ deadstock guipure cotton lace, sourced from European mill-end rolls rather than made to order, so the exact shapes and colourways on offer shift as stock sells through and are not rewoven once gone. Designers, bridal makers and home sewists use these appliques to add a focal embroidered detail without buying a full length of lace fabric.
