Guipure Polyester Lace

Guipure polyester lace carries the same heavy, structured, net-free construction as our cotton guipure, but on a synthetic base that adds durability, crisp motif definition and easier care — qualities that suit eveningwear, occasion dresses, costume and pieces that need to travel or hold their shape through repeated wear. The polyester base also tends to take colour with strong, saturated results, which shows well in bold guipure motifs.

Our guipure polyester lace is sourced as European deadstock, sold by the metre alongside matching appliques, lace fabric and trims from the same limited production runs. AnBella Designs offers it to designers, ateliers, bridal and eveningwear makers, and home sewists who want guipure’s sculptural embroidery with a hardier, easy-care base. Because it is deadstock, colours and motifs are finite and will not be reordered once a run sells out.
