Embroidered Appliques
Lace Appliques
Lace appliques are individual embroidered motifs — flowers, leaves, medallions and figurative designs — cut or trimmed to be stitched onto a finished garment or piece, rather than sold as continuous yardage. They let a maker add intricate embroidery exactly where it is wanted: at a neckline, a hem, a bodice, a veil edge or a piece of home décor, without sewing an entire panel of lace.
AnBella Designs’ applique collection spans guipure, organdy and other embroidered bases, all sourced as European deadstock — mill-end motifs rescued from existing production rather than newly commissioned. That makes each applique design a limited run: once a particular motif sells out, it will not be rewoven. Designers, bridal and couture makers, and home sewists use our lace appliques to repair, embellish or completely transform a garment, choosing motifs individually rather than committing to metres of matching fabric.
Part of our lace trim by the metre collection – European deadstock, sold from 1 metre and shipped from Austria.
