Eyelet lace, sometimes called broderie anglaise, is a woven cotton cloth punched with small openwork holes and finished with dense satin-stitch embroidery around each cutout. The result is airy, breathable and distinctly classic — a lace that reads as fresh rather than heavy, at home in bridal separates, christening gowns, children’s wear, lingerie and summer dresses as much as in table linens and home sewing.

Our eyelet lace fabric is sourced as deadstock: genuine mill-end and overstock rolls from European producers, bought once and never reordered, so the range you see today will not be there tomorrow in the same colourway.
