The children’s grouping leans on broderie anglaise. It holds cotton eyelet lace edgings from 2.6cm to 8.5cm, printed eyelet ajoure in white with blue, rose and multicolour, eyelet insertion lace and 2cm cotton fagotting for joining panels, and full-width 150cm eyelet lace fabrics – dotted, scattered rosette sprig and printed floral bouquet – for the dress itself rather than only its edges. Guipure daisy chain trims, cotton guipure Ship’s Wheel appliques and narrow organdy trims fill it out.

These are the materials childrenswear makers, christening and communion sewists and home dressmakers work with: a fabric and a matching edging from the same production, so yoke, hem and collar can be cut to agree. Sold by the metre from 1 metre, minimum order €35 excluding VAT, shipped from Austria. Deadstock quantities are finite and designs are not repeated.
